Ever since MGMT appeared on the music scene with their whimsical “Electric Feel,” we’ve seen an interest in “tribal” inspired patterns, designs, and elements that are perfect for summer. Whether it’s an untamed statement or a nostalgia for sleep-away camp on the lake, this piece from Chelsea Flower combines tribal, bohemian, and sporty aspects in a dress that is fun, sleek, and modern.

The 100% silk shell provides a simple background for the dress’ beaded fringe, and a racer back cut and pockets add an updated touch to a look that recalls flower power and summer love-ins.

I felt so inspired by this piece that I asked our model to strike a few additional poses – this one is my favorite.
