Street Style: Downtown Pomona

Downtown Pomona is a major college area where hooligans of all walks of life visit for concerts, events, and art walks.  The Glass House and Fox Theater are popular venues for a variety of music. Accompanied by antique shops, restaurants, bars, and more, why wouldn’t the stylish hang out here?! Check out the art walks every second Saturday of the month and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to be captured by our Street Style photog!

Amongst the countless styles in Downtown Pomona, we spotted black boots and mini skirts for the girls and a lot of grunge and 90s looks for the boys…but see for yourself…

Jessica likes clothes that are organic and raw, made out of materials such as organic cotton and hemp. She was wearing knee high black boots, a black mini skirt, and a button down denim top with a white paint splatter look as the design. The boots are perfect for winter and the mini in January screams Cali girl.

–Psychology Research Assistant and student–

Xanthus was spotted because of his grunge plaid shirt and denim pants. His favorite clothes are practical and useful, but also current.

–Video Editor–

We spotted Nafi for her cute panda hat (also to be used as a scarf and mittens). She wore head to toe black consisting of a midriff corset top, denim pants, and cowboy boots. She loves punk rock, and definitely adds her own twist to her style.

–server at Kellogg West restaurant at Cal Poly Pomona–

Claire was caught wearing a black romper with gold accents, black tights, and suede heels. Her favorite outfits consist of bright colored and patterned pants, rompers or maxi dresses.

–Business Student at Cal Poly Pomona–

Sophie was spotted in a tomboy to the max style with a feminine twist.  She loves when outfits have tight denim, v necks or button down tops, but her favorite part of her look is her shoes!

–Student at El Camino–

Ben’s favorite era is the 90s and he lusts for the perfect grunge look. He was wearing converse, blue jeans and a striped hoodie which totally suited his 90s style. His favorite clothing company is the skate company Obey.

–Hospitality student–

Kim was spotted wearing lace up black boots, a black mini skirt, a sheer clay brown blouse and a fur hat. Her look is perfect for winter. She likes to wear whatever she is comfortable in while staying stylish which is why her favorite store is TJ Maxx

–Industrial Engineering student–
