Style-Razzi: What We Love (&hate): Golden Globes Edition

Instead of the usual Style-Razzi, we’re going to be showcasing the hits and misses of last night’s 2013 Golden Globes’ red carpet! Although it may have been chilly last night, these stars still worked their way through the red carpet in glam gowns and gorgeous smiles. Let’s take a look at some hits and misses from last night’s glam event.

HITS

Emily Blunt kept it classy and elegant in this golden cut-out embellished gown. Not only did this gown do justice to her figure, the cut-outs were placed in just the right places! Keeping the statement accessories at bay, Emily was a stunner.

Possibly the power couple of the night, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz looked amorous while posing for the cameras. Rachel looked playful in her sheer polka dotted Louis Vuitton dress while Daniel looked more James Bond than ever!

Sofia Vergara flashes her signature smile to the cameras. Sofia kept it simple by wearing a strapless glittered black gown and minimal makeup.

Halle Berry never ceases to disappoint when it comes to red carpet arrivals! Donning a beautiful abstract dress and showing some intense leggage, Halle shines as she strikes a pose for the cameras.

Jennifer Lawrence looked just as elegant as her older female counterparts. All eyes were on her as the rising starlet waves to the audience in this strapless satin red Dior dress.

MISSES

Sienna Miller missed the mark with this one. Maybe it’s the cropped boatneck top or the floral adornments but this dress seemed a bit too young for her – we’d expect possibly someone like Chloe Moretz or Elizabeth Olsen to sport a dress like this.

While most celebs want to look breathtaking on the red carpet, Lucy Liu did a bit more on her look last night. She overwhelmed us in this Marie Antoinette-esque floral Victorian dress and a Repunzel-style braid. Again, this dress would be more fitting for Selena Gomez (or a fairy princess), but we’d like Lucy to keep it simple next time.

Sofia Vergara wasn’t the only one in a shimmery strapless black gown. Salma Hayek also showed up in a similar dress. Salma may have overdone her hair by showing up in curls. The usual well-kept actress seemed to look frazzled instead of red carpet ready last night.

I am torn between Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson. They both looked stunning. But If I had to choose just one, it would be Kate Hudson because that dress fit her like a glove and her hair and makeup was just perfect!
Shannon S.:
I loved Jessica Alba...what a risk wearing that color. As for the above stars...I agree
